Job Description
- Lead and mentor a team of junior and senior data scientists, serving as a role model and professional coach to develop colleagues' capabilities, stretch their skills, and uphold high standards of accountability.
- Initiate and execute complex, ambiguous statistical analysis and modeling projects to optimize the Search Ads serving system and deliver rigorous, actionable insights that drive revenue growth.
- Design and implement innovative experiment designs, statistical models, and measurement frameworks to analyze the long-term impact of product changes on users, advertisers, and Google's systems.
- Partner and align with engineering, product management, and executive leadership, as well as cross-functional stakeholders in sales and customer solutions, to guide product strategy and assist in decision-making.
- Manage project life-cycles by covering problem definition, metrics development, data extraction and manipulation, visualization, and presentation of findings to stakeholders across multiple organizations.
