Job Description
The Certified Veterinary Technician is responsible for assisting the veterinarian in providing exceptional veterinary care to every pet that enters the hospital, including patient restraint, diagnostic testing, venipuncture, vaccinations, treatment of various medical conditions, surgery, anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, client interaction, and other nursing duties as needed. The candidate in this position must deliver compassionate nursing care. They will also perform various office duties, including answering phones, appointment scheduling, updating patient medical records, referral forms, and more.
The compensation for this full-time opportunity is $22.00 per hour and may increase based on experience. A valid CVT License in the state of Pennsylvania is required.
