Reservations & Seating Management

  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating flow using the reservation system
  • Optimize table turns while maintaining service standards and guest comfort
  • Balance server sections and ensure equitable distribution of covers
  • Adjust seating strategy based on volume, pacing, and operational needs

Operational Awareness

  • Communicate continuously with managers, servers, and kitchen regarding pacing
  • Support transitions between meal periods, including higher-volume breakfast/lunch and more structured dinner service
  • Assist in controlling door flow during peak and event-driven periods

Guest Communication & Problem Solving

  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Provide accurate information regarding menus, hours, and offerings
  • Support service recovery efforts by escalating issues appropriately

Team Collaboration

  • Support overall team success with a positive and proactive attitude

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous host or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-volume environments

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable managing guest flow and making real-time decisions

  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
