The Kaufman Dolowich Los Angeles and Torrance offices—part of a nationally recognized law firm with more than 250 attorneys nationwide and honored by U.S. News as one of the “Best Companies to Work For – Law Firms”—are seeking an experienced Professional Liability Attorney with 4+ years of litigation experience to join our growing and highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities
- Manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, hearings, and trials
- Communicate directly with clients and provide regular case updates and strategic guidance
- Handle a broad range of professional liability matters
- Collaborate closely with attorneys across offices and practice groups on complex litigation matters
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Admission to practice in California required
- 4+ years of litigation experience
- Experience handling legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and/or other professional liability matters strongly preferred
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment

Base Salary Range
$150,000 – $200,000
Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents one component of Kaufman Dolowich’s comprehensive Total Rewards package, which also includes a discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
