Your role at Dynatrace
In this role, you will work directly with our customers to implement, configure, provide training, and deliver use-case consulting for our Dynatrace platform aligned with the customer’s desired business outcomes. The Lead Consultant will represent Dynatrace as a trusted advisor, guiding customers along their Dynatrace journeys. Lead Consultants are expected to deliver Dynatrace core service offerings having regular interactions with developers, architects, business analysts, and line-of-business executives. Lead Consultants will also be a go-to-resource for all ACE Services for expert knowledge and experience in all aspects of troubleshooting, best practice and general guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver education sessions focused on Dynatrace solutions in our customers’ environments
- Consult with customers to understand, and then meet, their business and technical goals
- Serve as subject matter expert on Dynatrace techniques and best practices, combining product expertise with your skills and knowledge
- Identify key “Business Modeling” integration opportunities, especially around reporting, alerting, dashboards, SLAs
- Analyze performance data and assist with performance troubleshooting / tuning of customer applications, architecture, and practices
- Use Dynatrace products to find and point out obvious application performance problems and other low-hanging fruit for those great “aha!” moments
- Participate in project scoping
- Build relationships that support the successful adoption and integration of Dynatrace products throughout the application lifecycle
- Partner with the sales team as needed in presales technical sessions
- Recommend complementary products or product features to meet customer goals
Travel Requirements
- Most Dynatrace Services client engagements completed by Lead Consultants are short to mid-term assignments but usually do not require travel. However, on occasion, site visits may be required
- Must be willing to attend training at a Dynatrace or other location as well as potential travel for in-the-field observation activities
