VP, Learning & Development

The VP, Learning & Development will build the L&D function at Howard Energy Partners from the ground up—not inherit a mature program, but create one. This includes defining a development philosophy, designing programs that fit the business, and building a small team and infrastructure over time. The focus is on durability and usefulness, not scale for its own sake. Everything built should help managers develop people and help employees grow through real work. Grounded in adult learning and leadership development, this role creates space for learning that is practical, relevant, and rooted in real work and relationships. The leader meets people where they are, helps them stretch thoughtfully, and supports sustainable growth.
