Job Description
Position Summary
This placement will support the Trails and Terrestrial program at the National Park of American Samoa. Interns will perform a variety of tasks, including trail maintenance, inventory and monitoring surveys, invasive plant removal, habitat restoration and much more. Interns will work alongside NPS staff, as part of the TNT Crew, in support of NPS mission.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Trail Maintenance: maintaining equipment, brushing trails, removing fallen trees, and grass cutting.
· Invasive Control: remove invasive plants and species, habitat restoration
· Inventory and Monitoring of birds, stream, snails and more.
Marginal Duties
Maintaining the cleanliness of park vehicles and warehouse.
Required Qualifications
Driver's license
This SCA Position is authorized under the Public Land Corps Authority. All participants must be between the ages of 16 and 30, inclusive, or veterans age 35 or younger. Participants must also be a citizen or national of the United States or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States. Hours served can be applied toward the Public Land Corps (PLC) hiring authority.
