Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Box Office Manager, this Box Office Attendant position is responsible for handling ticket sales and providing customer service for all ticketed events processed through SaskTix at the Temple Gardens Centre.
This is a seasonal part-time role and will be available from August 22, 2026 to August 15, 2027.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.35-$16.00 CAD
This position will remain open until August 14, 2026.
About the Venue
The Temple Gardens Centre in Moose Jaw stands as southern Saskatchewan’s premier venue, encompassing 210,000 square feet of versatile space dedicated to community recreation and entertainment, boasting a 4500-seat arena, an 8-sheet curling rink with a two-tier lounge overlooking the ice, and meeting and conference spaces.
Responsibilities
- Know and understand the operations of the Paciolan ticketing system
- Familiarity with the SaskTix website and its navigation
- Understanding of ticketing formats, including printed tickets, mobile tickets, and email delivery methods
- Familiarize yourself with each event (ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, reserved or general admission seating, etc.)
- Know and understand seating charts
- Perform transactions for all events on the ticketing system with efficiency and accuracy
- Collect proper currency or credit card amount for purchase of ticket(s) as well as give back proper number of tickets and correct change
- Communicate and satisfy patrons with world-class customer service
- Operate phone and address patrons’ requests for information, sales or support
- Reconcile all monies received from ticket sales by the end of the shift
- Maintain high level of confidentiality
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced environment
- Familiarity with Windows-based computers
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Experience working with the public and handling cash
- Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team
- Capable of working a flexible/casual schedule and/or extended hours, including but not limited to working early mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays in addition to traditional business hours
- Proven ability to work well with all levels of management
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
