Human Resources Intern
Location: Arvada, CO

Salary: $20.00 – 22.00 Per Hour (Non-Exempt)
Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated HR Intern to join our team. This role is a fantastic entry point for someone looking to understand the "behind-the-scenes" mechanics of a busy HR department. You won’t just be grabbing coffee; you’ll be the architect of our digital transformation, helping us move from physical archives to a streamlined, modern database.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation & Filing:
• Lead the digitization project: scanning, labeling, and uploading physical employee records into our electronic filing system.
• Maintain high standards of data integrity and confidentiality while handling sensitive documents.
• Organize and audit physical personnel files to ensure compliance with labor laws.
Administrative Support:
• Assist with day-to-day office operations and clerical tasks.
• Prepare HR-related documents, such as offer letters, orientation packets, and employment verifications.
• Maintain and update employee directories and organizational charts.
Project-Based Initiatives:
• Collaborate on special HR projects
• Assist the recruiting team by posting job ads and coordinating interview schedules.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable learning new software and scanning hardware.
• Requires technical knowledge and ability to develop improved methods for fulfilling responsibilities.
• Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
• Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and use hands to grip regularly.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Prolonged periods of sitting.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined.
