Job Title: Marsh Laborer
Department: Wisconsin – Marsh Operations

Summary:
The Marsh Laborer reports to the Assistant Marsh Manager. The Marsh Laborer role is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the cranberry harvest and maintaining the grounds. Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned by the Marsh Assistant Manager.
Requirements:
- Cranberry Harvest includes corralling the berries, helping to load cranberries into trucks, cleaning up harvest debris, and moving irrigation systems out of the way of harvest equipment.
- Mowing along irrigation lines, pulling weeds, whacking, and fertilizing.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned.
Accountability # 1 Operations and Property Management – (90%):
- Heavy Equipment operator (Mowing tractor, dump trucks, tractors)
- Weed whacking and weed pulling, etc....
- Maintenance of equipment (oil changes, servicing)
- Harvest laborer (Pull cran-boom, pick up trash, clean berry pump, and rake berries)

Accountability # 3 – Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must be able to work outside in all types of weather. Will be on feet for the majority of the workday.
- The typical workday is 8 to 10 hours with additional hours as needed based on job requirements.

Qualifications/Certifications
Private Pesticide Applicator license required.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Operating tractors and heavy equipment.
- Repair and Maintenance of equipment.
- Heavy equipment operation
