Job Description
Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for compiling and analyzing consolidated financial results, assisting with strategic long-term planning and other corporate initiatives. The Corporate Associate Financial Analyst serves as a critical member of the corporate finance team, partnering closely with operational finance and cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment between financial insights, strategic priorities, and overall company objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial results for executive leadership reporting
- Develop and conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and business performance evaluations
- Create and deliver presentations, insights, and ad hoc analyses for the CFO and senior leadership team
- Partner with operational finance teams and business leaders to support short- and long-term planning processes
- Leverage forecasting and planning systems to produce actionable insights
- Assist in corporate development initiatives, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and project coordination
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
- CPA or MBA (or progress toward completion) is advantageous
Relevant Work Experience:
- 0 to 2 years in related field
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Broad financial acumen including a strong foundation in accounting and corporate finance principles
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and strong ability to analyze financial data and business metrics
- Solid communicator with collaboration skills that focus on teamwork. Comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting their findings to senior management
- Strong worth ethic with ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and often ambiguous environment
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required, and other financial software skills are a plus (e.g., Oracle Fusion and other financial systems)
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and committed to continuous learning
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
