Supply Chain Specialist
Position Summary
Location: Logan, UT
Wage: $15.75
The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end execution of outbound and inbound logistics and technical inventory preparation. This position ensures that the right equipment is delivered to the right place, at the right time.
This role will manage order fulfillment to make sure equipment is available for our nationwide network of technicians in addition to performing value added services to provide ready to install equipment to customers.
Core Responsibilities
1. Fulfillment & Logistics Operations
- Demand Execution: Generate and release Transfer Orders (TOs) for Field Technicians based on confirmed site visit demand, ensuring inventory is available at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled need.
- Site Fulfillment: Fulfill direct to customer shipments in preparation for technician visits, being responsible for the equipment arriving on time and ready for the technician to perform the scheduled work.
- Inbound Management: Physically receive inbound packages, verify contents against manifests, and immediately process receipt transactions within NetSuite.
- Tracking & Transparency: Maintain 100% data integrity by accurately entering tracking data for all outbound shipments into the NetSuite ERP system. In addition to communicating any delays with planning teams.
2. Technical Configuration & Specialized Services
- Equipment Programming: Coordinate and execute internal programming requests, ensuring digital configurations are correctly mapped to physical units prior to shipment.
- Deployment Standards: Apply specialized labeling and technical preparation for equipment, specifically adhering to Self-Service deployment standards for "plug-and-play" field use.
- Technical Readiness: Oversee the organization of specialized inventory within programming stations, ensuring all internal movement is documented via bin transfers in NetSuite.
3. Planning & Inventory Integrity
- Cycle Counting: Perform physical cycle counts as directed by the Inventory Control function to support data auditing, reconciliation, and loss prevention.
- SOP Adherence: Execute all fulfillment, logistical, and technical configuration processes in strict accordance with documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
4. Warehouse Standards & Facility Management
- Operational Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning, sweeping, and organizing tasks to maintain a high-standard warehousing environment.
- Asset Organization: Take ownership of the organization and cleanliness of both general storage areas and specialized technical configuration zones.
Cross-Functional Support: Contribute to inbound processing during high-volume periods and assist with general fulfillment tasks to ensure total team coverage.
