Location: West Allis or Madison, Wisconsin
Position Type: Full-Time | Local Travel Required | FLSA Status: Exempt
Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for mechanical systems and a knack for closing deals? IKM Building Solutions, Inc. is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join our team and help us grow our footprint across Wisconsin.
As the face of IKM, you’ll be our brand steward—building strong client relationships, expanding our market presence, and delivering outcome-based solutions in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fabrication, Service, and Controls.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Sales Division Manager, your role will include:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and manufacturing clients
- Identify and close new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling
- Promote renewable service agreements and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic, technical proposals
- Track opportunities in CRM and maintain detailed account plans
- Represent IKM at trade shows and industry events
What You Bring
- Proven sales experience in construction, mechanical systems, or related industries
- Ability to read construction drawings and P&IDs
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with excellent time and territory management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; COINS and SmartSheet experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
Work Environment & Travel
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed
- Must be comfortable working in varied job site conditions
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs and travel regularly to client locations
