Job Summary
Miller Electric- Access Control/CCTV Senior Service Technician responsibilities include programming, testing, commissioning installations of Integrated Security Systems including but not limited to Access Control, IP-CCTV, Biometrics, Intrusion and Intercom which may include hardware, software and networking products. Strong knowledge of commercial security, basic networking, troubleshooting, and systems programming is required.
In addition to the above requirements, the candidate must possess strong communications and organizational skills to ensure complete project success. Must also be able to shift focus and prioritize workload to complete work in the allotted time.
This position may be required to participate in on-call, after hours support or work different shifts based on company needs. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Some overnight travel may also be required from time to time. #miller #LI-JJ1
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Programming, testing and commissioning security equipment
- Performing customer training
- Troubleshooting and system diagnostics
- Maintaining records and timely reporting
- Retaining system certifications
Qualifications
- 6 yrs working experience in commercial security, basic networking, troubleshooting, and systems programming is required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree
- Valid Florida Drivers License
- Clean driving record
Must have at least two of the following certifications to apply
- Genetec
- Software House Victor
- Avigilon ACS & CCTV
- Lenel
- ExacqVision
- DMP
