More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator in New Oxford & Littlestown, PA, with Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Plan and implement general environmental, health and safety activities, policies, procedures, and tasks under the guidance of senior workers and/or group leaders to ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain a safe working environment, comply with safety standards, promote a culture of safety, and minimize workplace hazards.

  • Track EHS performance data and assist with continuous improvement and root cause analyses to address safety concerns effectively. Use standard administrative tools and develop new tools, as needed, to enhance safety management and reporting accuracy.

  • Provide EHS training and/or guidance at the workplace to promote employee awareness and safe practices and reduce incidents.

  • Track and communicate legal and Signify compliance requirements affecting operations to ensure all practices meet regulatory standards.

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related discipline

  • 1+ years of professional experience in a health and safety capacity, ideally within a corporate or industrial setting

  • Ability to implement EHS management systems

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Able to travel to both the New Oxford & Littlestown, PA, sites

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Salary: $61,060 - 89,551 based on experience

Bonus: target bonus opportunity - 5%
