Back to jobsSupport and oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations for the Regional Corporate legal entities in the UK & Nordics. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Supervise the activities of the accounting staff across AR, AP, GL.
Maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies to ensure the proper, complete, and accurate record-keeping within the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (US and UK).
Support the delivery and review of timely monthly financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements, payments, recharges to AMETEK affiliates, cash-flow management, and revenue recognition reporting for submission to AMETEK stakeholders.
Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit activities, including preparation or review of schedules and responses to audit queries.
Maintain SOX compliance across the entities.
Provide day-to-day coaching, guidance and development to finance team members to ensure work is performed in an efficient, timely, and knowledgeable manner.
Build partnership relationships with Business Unit employees across Sales, Service and Operations to support the business in achieving its growth objectives.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency, and support implementation of solutions.
