Back to jobsPhysical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required throughout the workday to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to see print in various sizes and formats. May be required to climb stairs. Must regularly be able to pull and push up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Work environment: Work performed in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (for Maintenance & Receiving only). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, in some areas. Handling metal powders may require proper personal protective equipment including respirators and glove. Employee will work with various production equipment requiring compliance to established safety protocols and process work instructions, utilizing various material powders, such as titanium, stainless and cobalt, etc.
