Lead a group of mechanical engineers in designing and developing products, and in the support of manufacturing, sales, and service functions.
Ensure that the Engineering team follows ISO procedures as outlined in the department's work instructions
Conduct annual performance appraisals of direct reports
Provide weekly departmental activity reports to the Director of Engineering
Work with Operations to maintain/improve production line efficiency, consistency, quality, and yields. This includes daily problem solving and creation and documentation of processes and fixtures used to manufacture and test products.
Ensure that the quality and performance of our products meets our customer's expectations
Find and execute VA/VE projects as needed
Perform all work in accordance with approved manuals and follow all policies and safety guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel, up to 25%, may be required.
