Manager SQA I

Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong QA Manager with leadership and development experiences, and manual/automation testing experience to lead our QA organization.

The Incumbent will:

• Lead the test organization on manual and automated testing for our multi-platform social & casual game
• Design and develop test plans, test cases, and BVT tests from specs for our social games platform
• Design and develop test automation framework
• Work closely with QA, Producers, and Development teams to identify problems and issues
• Work with mobile outsource test team as needed
• Lead/run BVT, test cases, and automated tests for new features and new games, regression tests, load/performance/stress tests, and drive the overall quality metrics of the mobile team
• Work with production and development teams to create internal processes for development testing and post launch update tests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related discipline or equivalent experience
• 7+ years' experience in software testing, test planning, and test case design
• 3+ years' experience in HTML5, JavaScript, and/or Java programming
• 3+ years of supervisory/management experience
• Automated test development experience
• Experience with software test design, planning, and execution for high volume web services
• Experience with software test methodologies, test processes, and agile development process
• Experience with UI, functional, and integration testing
• Experience with bug tracking system such as Bugzilla or other bug tools
• Natural abilities in identifying issues and very detail oriented
• Have gone through at least two complete software development cycle
• Love playing social games and finding defects

Preferred:

• Collaborate with the development teams in design reviews and software test process reviews
• Build automated test functions in HTML5/Javascript
• Strong test aptitude and customer focus orientation, games experience
