Responsibilities
This position is for a Software Engineer, based in Poland, specializing in C++/SQL who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of an online transaction processing system for a scratchcard lottery. The role involves working on high‑availability production systems, small team managements, participating in international system deployments, and providing hotline support for live environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

- Participation in future system deployments for world-wide customers

Presence in the Warsaw office at least two days per week is required
Qualifications
- University Degree in Computer Science or a related fields
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Good understanding relational database algebra
- Strong SQL skills at any common RDBMS, preferably DB2 or Postgres
- Knowledge of C application programming under RedHat Linux
- Two years or more of software working experience in professional software development
- UNIX shell scripting
- Leading small projects
- Good command in English language –written and spoken
- Availability for international travel (less then 10% per a year)
- Based in Poland (hybrid working model - 2 days weekly from office in Warsaw)
Nice to have
- Stored procedures programming experience with SQL database
- Working experience in International projects in larger software teams
- Programming large scale, multiuser, distributed systems
