Back to jobsTechnologist or Engineering degree. Formal training in management courses is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant Manufacturing, Quality, or Engineering experience.
Minimum of 3 years in quality administration / quality engineering. Aerospace quality training or gas turbine engine training/experience will be considered an asset.\
Solid technical background. Can interpret drawings and customer specifications.
Knowledgeable in inspection techniques.
Good understanding of quality requirements in an ISO/AS environment.
Working knowledge of aerospace industry standards and OEM requirements.
Strong understanding of Quality Management System and Auditing.
Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis and development of Corrective Action Plans.
Knowledge of statistical analysis, process capability and problem resolution tools and techniques such as 5 Whys, 6 Sigma, FPY, etc.
Basic or advanced knowledge of gas turbine engines.
Excellent prioritization, planning, and organizational skills.
Strong mentoring and training skills.
Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong statistical, mathematical and critical thinking skills.
Preventative, proactive and forward thinking.
Excellent procedure development skills.
Ability to evaluate and implement advanced software and quality improvement tools.

Understanding NADCAP and OEM Special Process requirements.
