Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
ML Model Coding, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement
- Own pricing ML models end-to-end: design, build, validate, deploy, and monitor algorithms (elasticity estimation, segmentation, discount optimization, list/target/contract price recommendations).
- Productionize & maintain pipelines for data prep, feature engineering, training, inference, and monitoring (drift, stability, explainability, governance).
- Run experiments: design A/B and quasi-experimental tests; define KPIs and guardrails; analyze impact on revenue, margin, and win rate.
- Data stewardship: ensure data quality, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Uplift analytics: build dashboards for model health and price realization; document methods and assumptions; champion best practices in code quality and reproducible research.
- Scale MLOps: implement CI/CD, model registries, automated tests, alerting, and rollout strategies (shadow, canary, phased).
- Partner with finance teams to understand business requirements and deliver custom reporting solutions.
- Partner with the business: translate complex findings into clear narratives and recommendations for Pricing, Sales, Category Management, and Finance.
- Provide training, direction, and assistance to data analysts or BI developers, overseeing workloads, performance, and professional development.
- Participate in recruiting skilled BI professionals and training new hires.
- Provide guidance on technical methods, problem-solving, and career growth within the analytics domain.
- Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, data notations, queue updates, batching, or other job & office functions and requirements.

- Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Math) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 or more years in Data Science or Applied ML with meaningful ownership of pricing or revenue-management algorithms in B2B contexts.
- Hands-on experience with price elasticity modeling, customer/product segmentation, quote/contract pricing, and price realization analytics.
- Core skills: Python, SQL, and Git; solid experiment design (A/B tests, CUPED, diff-in-diff, uplift modeling) and statistical rigor.
- Experience deploying models to production in cloud data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake) and working with dbt for transformations.
