As an Engineering Technician, you will be at the heart of our technical innovation, providing the hands-on support necessary to build, test, and refine the next generation of semiconductor technologies. You will work closely with world-class engineers to move projects from schematic concepts to functional prototypes, playing a direct role in the success of our automotive and industrial product lines.

• Prototyping & Assembly: Support a variety of engineering activities including the fabrication, assembly, and modification of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, and specialized test equipment.
• System Testing & Troubleshooting: Work from schematics, diagrams, and layouts to perform rigorous testing, check-out, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits, logic systems, and photonics applications.
• Fault Isolation: Perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment. You will assist engineers in determining the necessary methods or actions to remedy malfunctions and ensure system integrity.
• Test Equipment Development: Assist in the design, construction, and validation of custom test equipment. You will utilize diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test programs to verify performance.
• Technical Documentation Support: Work from written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to ensure all engineering activities are executed with precision and documented correctly.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with manufacturing, test, and diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Schematic Interpretation: The ability to accurately read and interpret complex electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical layouts.
• Problem-Solving Skills: A disciplined approach to troubleshooting and fault isolation, with the ability to assist in developing technical remedies for equipment malfunctions.
• Collaboration: A team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow technical instructions from engineering staff while providing valuable feedback during the build and test process.
• Experience: Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment supporting electro-mechanical systems or semiconductor test activities is highly preferred.
