The LYB Consultant plays a crucial role as member of the Raw Material team. You will function as the subject matter expert (SME) in supporting, developing, and implementing processes, and first-line resource for all the Internal and External Stakeholders.

A Day in the Life
- Investigate and resolve ERP system issues by identifying root causes within related business processes and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, business requirements, project documentation, stakeholder analyses, training materials, and testing materials.
- Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts for software configuration changes in collaboration with subject matter experts and key users.
- Provide guidance and operational support to Delegated Buyers, ESS Buyers, and Inventory Planners to ensure adherence to procurement processes and system functionality.
- Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business needs and priorities are incorporated into strategic and tactical process improvement efforts
- Represent Raw Materials Procurement during internal and external RCMS, ISO, and IATF 16949 audits across both corporate and manufacturing locations.
- Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities and system enhancements, translating insights into actionable change initiatives that drive improved business outcomes.
- Support the implementation of system and process improvements using a solution-oriented mindset, including participation in extended system upgrades or BPSS-related projects.
- Demonstrate and uphold LyondellBasell core competencies in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and analyze blocked invoices and trends, identify root causes, and develop improvement initiatives to address supplier needs while providing recommendations to the Category Manager.

Education and Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or recognized equivalent).
- Supplier Management, Inventory Planner or Sourcing Specialist experience.
- 2+ years of chemical or related industry experience and knowledge related to purc
