The Inventory Supervisor is the go-to resource for a team of Inventory Coordinators and acts as an escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and resolution tactics. This position is a subject matter expert on all inventory management strategies and a liaison between departments to efficiently solve field-related issues. This position works to manage, delegate, and access compliance and execution between field and the Inventory Coordinators. This leader will ensure timely resolution of problems and concerns of the stores while training, coaching, and mentoring behind-the-scenes support staff.
Responsibilities
- Follow up and help the successful completion of inventory processes (Receiving, Cycle Counts, Transfers, and Customer Orders) within a group of retail locations
- Prepare, implement, and review annual physical inventories
- Troubleshoot store operational procedures with the retail field staff
- Remedies stock and location discrepancies, as necessary
- Researching inventory issues for root cause and preventative measures
- Analyze results of the inventory counts to correct inaccuracies and minimize “shrinkage”
- Provide oversight of the product returns process, for both the company's return of goods shipped damaged or incorrectly, and the customer's return of products
- Manage a dashboard with actionable tasks for a group of retail locations
- Manage, review, and appraise performance of a team
- Travel to local stores as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

- 3+ years of experience in operations, preferably retail
- 2+ years of experience with inventory control
- 1+ year of experience in a supervisory role
- NetSuite ERP experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment
- Able to clearly view and read information on a computer screen
- Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds
Location and Travel Requirements
- On-site in Lenexa, KS
- Variable travel based on needs of the business
Pay Range
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00
