Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Experience in Quality assurance function in engine assembly & Testing.
- Experience in handling customer complaints of Industrial application engines and Gensets.
- Responsible for reducing Repairs Per Hundred (RPH)
- Coordinating with Customer care team for effective and immediate customer Complaint resolution.
- Field visits for onsite analysis & understanding applications / Usage
- Providing field fix
- Deployment of current learnings on new product to ensure first time right new product
- Ensuring sustenance of actions taken
- Improving response time
- Co-ordination with other functions such as Customer care, CDMM, PDRDS, Manufacturing, SQI & account for faster implementation of solution
- Participate in DFMEA, PMEA
- Ensure shop floor quality by Sustenance auditing, monitoring, Improving the compliance to standard.
- Hands on experience in data management for all customers and daily MIS.
- Exposure to Quality management systems.
- Experience in Auditing Processes and Products.
- Product & Process Knowledge/ Analytical skills, Drawing interpretation, Knowledge of statistical techniques.
- Engine assembly & Testing Knowledge.
- Analysing & monitoring customer complaints, line rejection and taking corrective actions.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Drive continuous process improvements (KAIZENS) to achieve consistent product quality.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to processes with SOP by periodic process audits.
- Knowledge of 7 QC tools, statistical tools / APQP/FMEA/PPAP /SPC/ MSA
