Essential Job Duties:
- Conduct supplier risk analysis to identify capacity constraints, financial stability, geopolitical exposure, and single-source vulnerabilities
- Execute international sourcing strategies navigating tariffs, Incoterms, currency fluctuations, compliance requirements, and extended lead times
- Own supplier scorecards — develop metrics, analyze trends, challenge performance gaps, drive corrective actions
- Execute purchase orders and replenishment aligned to Demand Planning priorities while optimizing total landed cost
- Manage end-to-end supplier relationships including contract negotiation, relationship development, and strategic business reviews
- Proactively communicate supplier constraints, capacity risks, and recovery plans to Demand Planning, Production, and executive leadership
- Coordinate complex inbound logistics including multi-modal transport, customs clearance, and consolidation opportunities
- Drive category cost optimization through supplier consolidation, volume leverage, alternative sourcing, and total cost of ownership analysis
- Lead supplier development initiatives improving quality, delivery, and innovation capabilities
- Champion continuous improvement through LEAN projects, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration
- Occasional domestic and international travel required

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or related field
- 5+ years strategic buying/procurement in manufacturing/food/CPG with international exposure
- Proven track record managing complex supplier relationships and contracts
- Advanced Excel/analytics skills with scorecard development experience
- Experience optimizing total landed cost across international supply chains
- Strong commercial negotiation skills with P&L impact
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food/CPG packaging or ingredients category management experience
- APICS CPIM, CPSM, or Lean certification
- Experience with Deacom or similar ERP systems
- International trade compliance and customs experience
- LEAN/continuous improvement leadership
