Should have a Bachelor of Engineering degree and score 70% and above (equivalent CGPA) from recognized university.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, LNG, or related industries.
minimum 3 years of experience in responsible roles in static equipment engineering operation or design, and coordination of surveillance / inspection activities for projects in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Broad and extensive knowledge of:
Mechanical properties and degradation mechanisms for common materials of construction used in Upstream equipment such as carbon steel, low chrome and nickel alloy steels, austenitic stainless steel, duplex and super duplex stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys such as Inconel.
Vessel and heat exchanger analysis programs such as PV Elite and HTRI
Demonstrated ability to interface with engineering disciplines, such as Process, Rotating Equipment, Materials, etc.
Demonstrated ability to understand and support client needs.
Onshore and offshore facilities design; along with direct experience working onsite in oil & gas facilities.
Participated in Layout Model Reviews, HAZID’s, design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, vendor qualification, and vendor bid evaluations as requested. Experience in coordinating & leading these reviews.
Tangible breadth of experience in multiple technical disciplines, in addition to depth of knowledge in Mechanical/Static Equipment.
Worked as Lead Engineer on Capital Projects will be preferred
Preferred knowledge in
Multiple prior assignments that provide a variety of exposure to global oil & gas operations.
Strong organizational, management, and technical judgment skills.
Good understanding of Project Life cycle and department interfaces.
Good understanding of Plant Operations priorities
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
Willing and able to travel as required, both domestic and international.
Flexible to work in shifts.
