Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive presales activities by delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) focused on VMware solutions (e.g., VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, NSX, vSAN, etc.);
- Participate in customer-facing technical meetings, presales cadence calls, and solution workshops throughout the sales cycle;
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to qualify opportunities, understand customer requirements, and propose appropriate VMware-based architectures and solutions;
- Act as the primary technical point of contact during the presales phase, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and proposed solutions;
- Support post-sale activities by assisting with solution handover, deployment guidance, and addressing technical challenges when needed;
- Deliver customer training sessions and contribute to technical documentation to support solution adoption and ROI;
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, maintaining strong relationships to support renewals and long-term engagement;
- Provide technical enablement and mentoring to internal teams and channel partners on VMware solutions;
- Monitor customer adoption and recommend enhancements, upgrades, or optimizations to improve outcomes and satisfaction;
- Work closely with product management, marketing, professional services, and support teams to close opportunities and resolve technical issues;
- Prepare and maintain accurate presales and post-sales technical documentation;
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling VMware solutions and related services.
