Job Description

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java, J2EE/JEE, Oracle, SQL/ PLSQL, Jasper report, APIs (RESTful and SOAP) and/or XML. Basic understanding of Solaris and/or Linux OS such as RHEL would be required.

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Good working knowledge on ServiceNow development and configuration tools, including Business Rules, Client Scripts and Update Sets
  • Experience managing SQL databases across Production, UAT and SIT environments (e.g., PHPMYAdmin or equivalent tools)
  • Good knowledge of Unix shell scripting, RedHat Ansible,
  • Experience supporting applications hosted on AWS including services such as CloudWatch, S3, RDS, EKS, CloudFormation, WAF, ECS and API Gateway
  • Familiarity with middleware and messaging technologies such as IBM Connect Direct, IBM MQ, Apache Ignite, Solace PubSub+ and ELK
  • Good understanding of microservices, containerized environments and DevSecOps practices is an advantage
  • Experience in Spring 4.x / 5.x / 6.x and Struts 2.x frameworks, SpringBoot and/or SpringBatch
  • Domain knowledge of Financial Clearing and Payment Systems and ISO20022 standard is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and change management processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a production support environment
  • Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing discipline
