Job Purpose:
Our Sourcing Manager leads a Corporate Accounts team responsible for supporting day-to-day, customer-driven sourcing requests aligned to sales execution and margin protection. The Sourcing Manager ensures consistent application of sourcing strategy while developing talent, improving cycle time, and driving disciplined execution across sourcing workflows.Job Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team supporting local and regional sales teams on customer pricing requests, sourcing exceptions, and fulfillment needs.Build a high-performing, service-oriented team with strong working knowledge of products, suppliers, and market dynamics.
Set clear expectations around responsiveness, quality, and commercial judgment; actively manage workload and prioritization.
Ensure sourcing decisions balance competitiveness with execution feasibility, supply continuity, and margin outcomes.
Act as an escalation point for complex sourcing issues requiring judgment, negotiation support, or cross-functional alignment.
Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, and Category teams to remove execution barriers and enable profitable growth.
Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, or risk patterns in sourcing activity and drive corrective actions.
Promote continuous improvement by leveraging insights from sourcing volume, turnaround time, and outcomes to improve service levels and efficiency.
Establish, monitor, and report KPIs related to sourcing performance (e.g., cycle time, responsiveness, margin support, adherence to suppliers).
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- 8–10+ years of progressive sourcing, procurement, or related commercial experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing sourcing, pricing, or procurement teams—preferably in an execution-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of distribution economics, pricing dynamics, and supplier management.
- Ability to influence without authority and manage a geographically dispersed team.
- High standards for operational discipline, responsiveness, and quality.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Work Experience:
● 5-10 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports, as well as size up new talent.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.● Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.● Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).● Strong planning and organization skills are required.Education:
