A two-year technical degree or equivalent is required minimum for consideration.
A degree in controls/electrical/electronics is preferred, including courses in computer science.
2 + years experience of control, electrical, or electronics experience including computer programming, system analysis, and design, electrical or electronics production system troubleshooting, and problem resolution will be considered in leu of degree requirements.
Two years of this exposure must be in an industrial production environment and mechanical maintenance work.
OSHA 10 or better is preferred.
All duties are performed with knowledge and application of safety standards, such as, but not limited to proper personal protective equipment (PPE), lifting techniques, forklift and rigging operations, fall protection, lock out/tag out, and arc flash.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Has a working knowledge of OSHA regulations, National Electric Codes, and International Building Codes.
Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.
Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.
Able to apply continuous improvement ideas and work in conjunction with teammates from across the business to ensure the design, delivery, and support of quality and on time product to the customer.
Identify opportunities and recommend changes to improve plant performance utilizing current control systems or by improving current systems.
Able to research and communicate with vendors, recommend and wright purchase requests for suggested replacement parts and supplies.
Able to evaluate, estimate time requirements, and complete your assignments on-time.
