MBBS or MD degree preferred or PhD, MSc, or equivalent advanced degree in pathology‑related biomedical sciences, medical laboratory science, or a related discipline
Formal training in histopathology, including tissue processing, sectioning, staining, and quality control.
Experience working in a hospital pathology department or equivalent laboratory environment is desirable. Candidates will be placed in roles commensurate with their level of experience ranging from Sr Medical Laboratory Scientist to Principal Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Experience with regulatory documentation and research administration (e.g. DSRB submissions, grant management) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Demonstrated competency in slide review and annotation.
Demonstrated experience supporting research studies or clinical research projects, preferably within a pathology or laboratory setting
Ability to work effectively within research study protocols and institutional governance frameworks.
Familiarity with digital pathology platforms and image management systems is an advantage.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, including preparation of regulatory and study‑related records.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary research and laboratory teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Successful candidates will be offered a 2 year contract
