Job Description
- Learn the technical and operational aspects of satcom terminal and platform systems, with a focus on VSAT platforms like Gilat, iDirect, Comtech, and HNS.
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs for the L3 Operations shift teams to ensure they are equipped to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
- Create and maintain up-to-date training materials and resources, incorporating the latest operational procedures and technology advancements.
- Provide real-time support and guidance to engineers during training and issue resolution, ensuring they understand and apply the knowledge effectively.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and team leads to identify knowledge gaps and tailor training programs to meet the team’s evolving needs.
- Continuously review and refine training programs to ensure they align with best practices and operational requirements.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the L3 Operations Team, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives by ensuring the team is up to date with optimized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)s
- Develop, write and maintain high-quality technical documentation like process manuals, user guides, troubleshooting guides, engineering specifications and SOPs
- Use tools like MATLABs, Visio to design, visualize and update system architecture diagrams, flowcharts and process maps.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, engineers and other stakeholders to gather technical data and translate it into clear, concise documentation.
- Define, standardize process, templates, documentation version control and ensure alignment with company standards and industry best practices.
