Ensure that trailers are processed in the order designated by management.
Ensure that YMS (Yard Management System) is updated and policy followed. Keeping the yard organized and in order.
Perform pre-op inspection of vehicle and post-op cleaning daily and manage the refer units(settings) in the yard.
Yard checks are done 2 times in a 24hr period. Helping the vendors and service techs.
Be able to operate the Yard tractor computer and being able to enter the yard check in the system.
Communicate with the gate, the dock office, and management.
Responsible for seal integrity and the reporting of an accurate /verified case count and condition of product during deliveries.
Operate a tractor and trailer in a legal/safe manner consistent with all Federal, State and Local laws, regulations, and Company policies. To include the utilization of all on board safety features.
Participate in Company and department safety programs.
Must pass the Forklift Operator's test.
