Job Description
The AML Financial Risk Investigative Analyst provides AML analytical and operational process support within a defined area. As a key resource and subject matter specialist, you will build and maintain strong knowledge of existing and emerging regulations related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions‑based risk across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of transactional activity to identify risks, trends, and potential suspicious activity and determine when further investigation is required
- Prioritize and manage workload to meet established service level and productivity requirements
- Identify, manage, and escalate non‑standard and high‑risk transactions or activities
- Maintain strong knowledge of AML/ATF practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements within your area of responsibility
- Act as a key AML subject matter resource, providing technical expertise and operational support
- Support the identification and implementation of new products, workflow enhancements, and operational efficiencies
- Run and review information against various lists and guidelines, ensuring accuracy and flagging deviations
- Manage processes involving multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions, including ongoing and ad‑hoc responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness
- Ensure appropriate due diligence to support the accuracy of all transactions and activities
- Interact with internal stakeholders and, where applicable, external contacts, providing guidance on processes and policies
- Participate actively as a team member and contribute to a positive work environment
- Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Promote a strong culture of risk management and control aligned with the organization’s risk appetite
Must have qualifications
- Active ACAMS certification (required)
- 2+ years of Risk Analyst or AML/FUI experience
- Fundamental knowledge of AML operations, standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
- Experience using computer applications, including MS Office
- Strong analytical, documentation, and investigative skills

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
