Bilingual Account Manager – Wealth & amp; Brokerage Services (Toronto or Montreal)

Contract: 6 Months + Potential to Convert | $25–$30/hr

Hybrid | 4 Days In-Office and 1 day work from home | Business Professional Attire

We are seeking an enthusiastic and service‑driven Account Manager to join a leading Canadian brokerage services provider that supports independent Portfolio Managers and IIROC‑registered Introducing Brokers across the country. This role is part of a collaborative Service Delivery Team responsible for providing exceptional day‑to‑day support to a portfolio of wealth management clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in investments, registered plans, and client service—especially those looking to grow within the wealth management industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with assigned Portfolio Managers and Introducing Brokers.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and internal operational teams to ensure seamless execution of service requests.
  • Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and platforms that impact clients’ day‑to‑day operations.
  • Ensure prompt, thorough resolution of client issues, while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Keep clients informed of new products, developments, and service offerings relevant to their business.
  • Attend and represent the organization at client meetings and business functions.
  • Conduct regular client check‑ins, documenting service issues, tracking progress, and ensuring timely follow‑through.
  • Support a wide range of operational workflows, including trades, settlements, transfers, reorgs, and system access.

What We’re Looking For

Education Credentials

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • CSC, CPH, or IFIC completed or in progress is preferred but NOT required.

Experience

  • 1–2 years in investment or wealth management (brokerage, teller, middle office, advisory support, etc.).
  • Hands‑on exposure to:
    • Registered plans
    • Mutual funds
    • Transfers
    • Estates
    • General wealth products

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills in English and French (verbal & written).
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Comfort working under SLAs and managing competing priorities.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and solutions‑focused.
  • Able to drive process improvements and suggest operational enhancements.

Work Environment

  • Location: Toronto or Montreal (open to either).
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
    • 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or
  • 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
    • Punctuality is essential—team members are expected to arrive 15 minutes early.
  • Training: Comprehensive 3‑week classroom‑style training with a cohort of new hires.
  • On‑Site Requirement: 3 days per week, business professional dress code.
  • Team Structure: Part of a newly enhanced service model—teams include specialization areas such as transfers, registered plans, mutual funds, and estates. This position joins the generalist stream.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
