Job Requirements

The Aubuchon Company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Sales & Operations Manager to join our team. As a Regional Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales, overseeing operations, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. This role will oversee between 12-16 stores in the New York and Vermont.

 

What You’ll Do:

Drive Sales & Profitability

  • Lead financial performance, focusing on sales, margins, payroll ratios, and 4-wall EBITDA.
  • Support “Win the Month” initiatives and regional sales contests.
  • Conduct sales category reviews and use insights to capture opportunities.

Build Contractor & B2B Growth

  • Expand B2B programs, develop contractor/pro relationships, and increase loyalty participation.
  • Strengthen partnerships that grow market share and enhance customer lifetime value.

  • Lead Merchandising Strategy
  • Partner with Store Leaders to execute seasonal resets, promotional displays, and product launches.
  • Monitor inventory levels to reduce overstocks and prevent out-of-stocks.

Ensure Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily price changes, cycle counts, inventory audits, zero audits, and loss-prevention reporting.
  • Ensure best-in-class fulfillment of ecommerce (BOSS/BOPIS/BODFS) and delivery services.
  • Conduct audits (OSHA, LP, Safety) and implement improvement plans.

Develop & Coach Teams

  • Train, mentor, and support Store Leaders and teams to deliver operational discipline, sales results, and Neighbor/Helpful Ready service.
  • Partner with HR and Organizational Development to build future leaders through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.


Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of multi-store retail leadership with proven sales growth results.
  • Experience in merchandising, category management, or regional operations.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales development and contractor/pro relationship management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time; flexible schedule required.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
  • Must be comfortable working in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request).

  • Pay Ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 , plus annual bonuses - pay increases with experience.
