Support the Finance team in analysing and understanding SG&A expenses
Support the SGA financial planning processes throughout the year through collaboration with the broader finance team and various business stakeholders
Support the month-end close process around SG&A expenses by reviewing actual expenses versus planned expenses and investigating, understanding, and documenting variances; provide commentary on movements versus prior year and forecast.
Review individual invoices and expenses to understand their nature to ensure they are being recorded appropriately, within the right period, and within the right company code, GL and cost center
Liaise with other parts of Glanbia to understand recharges and allocations and report on such costs as required.
Prepare SG&A cost center reporting for relevant stakeholders and help them understand their actual expenses and variances to plan and prior year
Support the overall SG&A storytelling effort for the business by preparing clear and insightful reporting and presentations of actual results versus plan and prior year; create value add monthly reports and analytics that inform on operating expenses performance.
Help develop and improve systems and processes around SG&A expenses in order to advance our understanding of our cost base
Assist the Finance team as required on ad hoc projects and participate in various projects where relevant including support to the CFO, executive teams, and Group teams.
