Understand and demonstrate how to read and execute batch sheet and instructions, sampling and labels
Understand basic fluid bed principals and pass test
Demonstrate basic documentation of batch sheet, wash down paperwork, logbooks
Be able to read and check warehouse entries
Consume and post batch in plant
Successfully load solution kettles and fluid bed bowls following instructions on the batch sheet
Must be able to make one solution for the following processes: hot melt, agglomeration, trituration
(Willingness to learn the additional processes as time allows)
Can demonstrate and independently run at least one of the following FB processes: hot melt, agglomeration, trituration with all necessary documentation, sampling as well as break down, setup, & wash down
(Willingness to learn the additional processes as time allows)
Demonstrate setup, operation, calibration of spray rate and break down of solution pumps, in-line filters and hoses
Demonstrate independently being able to setup, operation, break down, brush down, wash down (physically) of necessary equipment in fluid bed (Example: Fitz-mills, co-mills, kettles, pumps, all seal installation and disassembly, post hoist and sifting equipment.)
Demonstrate the installation, and take down of fluid bed filters and proper care for them
Demonstrate they can setup the bowl in the post hoist and sift or mill the batch according to the batch sheet
Demonstrate the use of a sifter safely following procedures and policies
Demonstrate the use of a fitzmill safely following procedures and policies, if applicable
Demonstrate use of scale as well as tare wt. and test of scale and document
Demonstrate how to perform particle size, LOD and tapped and bulk density as well as documenting on the batch sheet
Clear understanding of SOP’s, GMP’s, Allergens, HACCP, Food Defense, Color Code, Documentation, Logbooks, Hand Washing, Uniform and Locker policy once fully trained and onboarded.
