Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Lead Training SUP, safety teams, and emergency response teams.
- Manage, create, and ensure compliance with all loss prevention related Tractor Supply Company (TSC) policies or procedures to prevent financial losses.
- Ensure all physical security measures and equipment are in place and properly maintained and is a point of contact for seal integrity and unauthorized visitors on the premises, including the Evolv system.
- Collaborates with department Operations Managers in Receiving, LDPA, Orderfill, Shipping, Safety Security and Transportation to ensure all aspects of facility physical security.
- Conduct professional loss prevention investigations and interviews to resolve internal theft incidents within the facility.
- Coach trainers towards meeting goals. Assists in training team members on distribution processes and equipment. Evaluates the performance of trainers and communicates feedback regarding job performance and expectations in a timely manner.
- Partners with Training & OD team for updated information. Attends alignment meetings and supports training rollouts. Supports leader development programs such as SIT and Legendary Leadership.
- Perform research and analysis; assist in the design and development of training processes which include safety, quality, cycle time, productivity cost reduction and operations to facilitate continuous process improvement. Participates in root cause analysis to identify problems and recommend changes.
- Developing training programs to improve operational throughput.
- Responsible for development of process and meeting goals associated with ORI’s / ORI Rate, number of incidents and injuries.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting ORI spend / cost.
- Conduct training on all safety related topics to provide the facility with an educated and aware team member base to support inventory shrinkage.
- Handle accident investigations to determine root causes and develop/implement proper preventative measures.
- Direct facility safety committee activities with the intent of continuing to provide a safe working environment.
- Serve as a point of contact for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or any regulatory agency or compliance inspector, as well as follow-up of any citations that are issued to include worker’s compensation expense reduction.
- Create and implement safety initiatives that target injury drivers, shrink drivers and/or incident drivers utilizing an analytical approach through review of injury data and incident investigations.
- Develop annual building safety plan/goals and ensure all levels of management and team members are meeting expectations to achieve desired results.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Ensure root causes are identified, documented, and addressed with effective improvement.
