The Quantity Survey Specialist (m/f/d) is responsible for managing project costs, contracts, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures cost control, accurate forecasting, and contractual compliance while supporting project teams in achieving profitability targets and mitigating financial and contractual risks.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Cost Control & Budget Monitoring: Monitor project costs against budget, track commitments, and identify deviations to ensure financial targets are met.
- Quantity Take-Off & Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for works, materials, and subcontract packages.
- Contract Management & Administration: Support contract execution, ensure compliance with contractual terms, and assist in managing subcontract agreements.
- Valuations & Payments: Manage progress valuation of subcontractors, verify invoices, and ensure correct payment certification.
- Change Management & Claims: Identify, evaluate, and manage variations, claims, and change orders (cost and contractual impacts).
- Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and analyze project financial performance.
Show your expertise
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
- Several years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong cost analysis and financial control skills
- Contract management knowledge (FIDIC, EPC contracts, subcontracting)
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage claims and variations
- Stakeholder coordination (Project / Procurement / Suppliers)
- Advanced Excel / reporting skills
- Fluent in English
