Job Description
At PPG, we produce paints, coatings, and materials used in many everyday products. Our Tallinn site supports the storage and movement of materials that keep our operations running smoothly across the region. In Estonia, PPG is part of the Northern and Baltic region and works closely with the Tikkurila business, combining strong local knowledge with global expertise.
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be part of a practical, team-oriented environment, making sure materials are received, stored, and delivered correctly and on time. This is a good opportunity to gain experience and grow within an international company that values safety, teamwork, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Locates stock and delivers items to their destination upon request, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Receives incoming deliveries, checks for accuracy against documentation, and stocks the supply room with new goods.
- Loads and unloads materials and products from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
- Stores, sorts, and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established sequences (e.g., size, type, or product code).
- Moves materials between receiving, production, and storage areas as required.
- Reads production schedules, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine materials to be moved or distributed.
- Takes inventory and identifies reorder needs for supervisor approval.
- Checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation and accuracy.
- Operates forklifts and other electric or gas-powered vehicles to move, stack, load, or unload materials (including use of elevated storage equipment where required).
- Maintains organized storage areas and follows all safety, health, and environmental procedures and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Possesses a basic understanding of general aspects of the job.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Forklift or material handling equipment certification (or ability to obtain, if required).
Experience
- 0–1 year of general work experience.
