Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs on ground support equipment, including but not limited to baggage loaders, tow tractors, pushback tractors, portable power units, and forklifts.
- Utilize fleet management software accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, parts used, and hours spent on each task.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring all tools, equipment, and parts are properly stored and readily accessible.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to ground support equipment maintenance and repair.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors to coordinate repairs, procure parts, and resolve any technical issues.
- Drive vehicles weighing up to ten (10) tons (up to forty (40) tons in select assignments) in congested areas requiring good depth perception and ability to distinguish colors red, green, and yellow.
- Operate a variety of tools, including power tools, in the process of assembling, disassembling, repairing, and installing parts and components while reaching, twisting, turning, and gripping.
- Read and interpret printed or computerized maintenance manuals, write legibly to complete forms/paperwork as required.
- Must be able to regulate own work with little supervision and accomplish tasks on own.
