About the Role:

We are growing our team and we’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Call Handler to join our Connected Services team onsite in the Milton Keynes office. This is a fast-paced, critical role supporting vehicle tracking, emergency response, and EV charging services.
This is an onsite weekend-only position, working Saturday and Sunday, 2pm to 8pm, including applicable bank holidays.

This opportunity is strictly for individuals seeking part-time weekend work only and is not suitable for those already working full-time Monday to Friday.

As a Call Handler: 

You’ll be the first point of contact responding swiftly to system alerts, alarms and Emergency calls (E-calls) and Breakdown calls (B-calls) and EV charging support. You’ll remain resilient during peak times and use your calm telephone manner to provide excellent customer support.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service over the phone
  • Respond to system alerts, alarms, and customer notifications
  • Manage and document vehicle theft cases, emergency, and breakdown calls
  • Provide support for EV charging queries
  • Ensure all calls are handled efficiently within service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively within a small, supportive team

About you: 

You’ll be living local to the Milton Keynes office, able to work 2pm to 8pm Saturday AND Sunday and NOT working full time.

  • Fluent English, spoken & written 
  • Excellent customer service skills with a confident telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stay calm and prioritise in a high-pressure environment
  • Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Flexibility and reliability, with willingness to cover shifts when required

Desirable (but not essential) 

  • Previous experience in an operations centre, control room, or similar environment
  • Good geographical knowledge
