Prepare simple plans and basic calculations Apply established design and calculation methods Develop mass and energy balances using simulation software Select and size process equipment Draft specifications, process design criteria, PFDs, P IDs, plant layouts, technical specifications and assessments as well as reports Where required, participate in various work phases at the office, on site or in a lab Prepare proposals Participate in the firm’s development and growth Carry out commissioning and equipment performance testing Perform routine inspections or technical surveys
