Drive underwriting discipline through the development and oversight of policies, processes, and governance frameworks aligned with strategic goals.
Act as a senior market-facing leader, cultivating and deepening relationships with key brokers, agents, and clients across the region.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, service enhancements, and sustainable growth.
Participate in regional and national leadership forums, contributing specialty expertise to business planning, change initiatives, and strategic priorities.
Represent the East Region within global and regional underwriting communities, sharing best practices and contributing to proposition development.
Oversee underwriting authority, including direct involvement in underwriting and analyzing new and renewal business within delegated authority levels.
Review agency books of business, loss performance, and growth trends; recommend and implement action plans to improve results.
Support Zurich’s sales culture by serving as a trusted advisor to distribution partners and customers.
Ensure adherence to underwriting philosophy, regulatory requirements, and Zurich standards.
