Area Manager
Full-time | Bucharest | Start: August 2026
Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion of our retail business in Romania, including new store openings and market development.
- Take full ownership of sales performance, KPIs, budgets, and P&L results across the market.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase sales and optimise store operations.
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to strengthen market position.
- Ensure excellent customer experience and consistent brand standards across all stores.
- Lead, motivate, and develop store teams while creating a strong and positive retail culture.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development together with HR and Retail stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with HQ and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and HR.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with company policies and local legislation.
- Drive efficiency, structure, and continuous improvement across the retail organisation.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in retail operations and multi-store management.
- Solid business understanding with experience managing KPIs, sales performance, margins, costs, and stock.
- Excellent knowledge of the Romanian retail market.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Native Romanian and very good English skills.
- Good MS Office skills.
- Valid driving licence.
- Based in Bucharest or nearby.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly within Romania and internationally.
