The Corporate Development Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting enterprise-wide Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activity and strategic analysis for the company. This role will partner with segment, business unit, and function leadership to develop and deploy strategic plans that align with Oshkosh Corporation’s overall objectives. This role will also lead analyses to guide key business decisions and support strategic initiatives across Oshkosh Corporation.
YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Support M&A processes including company assessment and analysis, valuation (DCF, comparable public companies, and precedent M&A transactions), due diligence, and process management.
Partner with business leaders to define and conduct data analysis to support decisions based on business needs, strategic direction, and key performance parameters to focus on drivers of value.
Make strategic recommendations to Oshkosh Leadership based on analysis. Utilize understanding of Oshkosh’s strategic plans to identify implications and strategic recommendations which help leadership make informed decisions.
Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking to inform strategy and drive competitive positioning.
Prepare and deliver executive-level reports and presentations that provide insights on key business drivers, market conditions, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate and partner cross-functionally across enterprise including business units and functional areas (Finance, Tax, Engineering, GPSC, Legal, IT, HR) to execute strategic initiatives.
Deliver regular reporting on key business drivers to Oshkosh Leadership. This detailed reporting is used by executive leadership in preparations for earning calls and other key presentations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree.
Five (5) or more years of relevant Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Private Equity experience.
Prior involvement in M&A processes including due diligence, financial modeling, and strategic assessment.
Ability to travel 20%.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree; MBA preferred.
Prior experience working in, or with, a Manufacturing industry.
Experience conducting executive-level presentations and facilitating strategic discussions with senior leadership.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market and financial data.
Ability to communicate complex models and concepts.
Proven experience managing multiple priorities.
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
Pay Range:
$92,600.00 - $154,400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
