Operating Effectiveness Advisor
Role Summary
Serves as a strategic operations partner to senior Global Information Security (GIS) leadership, driving operational efficiency, governance, and data-informed decision-making across workforce management, financial oversight, and reporting.
Role Overview
The Operating Effectiveness Advisor acts as a central point of contact for operational support, analytics, and process optimization across GIS business management functions. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing core business processes related to workforce management (e.g., TBH tracking, contractor conversions, hiring controls), financial governance, and executive reporting.
The Advisor leverages complex data analysis to ensure effective governance, operational controls, and consistent communication frameworks. This role partners closely with the Office of the COO, HR, and Finance to deliver actionable insights and support strategic initiatives aligned with GCISO priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead operational processes related to hiring controls, contractor conversions, and workforce planning
Develop and deliver reporting and analytics to inform leadership decision-making
Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
Ensure consistent governance, controls, and reporting standards across GIS
Partner with Finance, Vendor Management, and Third-Party Management teams to support operational alignment
Support executive reporting and governance forums
Drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
Key Working Relationships
GIS Leadership (Daily/Weekly): Performance reporting, analysis, and operational alignment
Vendor Management (Daily/Weekly): Operational insights and recommendations
Third-Party Management (Weekly/Monthly): Contractor conversions and workforce transitions
Technology Finance (Daily/Weekly): Financial forecasting and workforce data analysis
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in business operations, analytics, or IT business management
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Clarity, Tableau, and Oracle Financials preferred
Core Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to operate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis
Knowledge of healthcare or regulated environments preferred
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 93,200 - 155,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
